Steve Bell's 'If' cartoon strip in the Guardian.
The absence of the 'If' strip from the Guardian for a few days had made me hope that Steve Bell might have moved elsewhere. Alas, it seems he was only away on holiday, and his strip - juvenile, foul-mouthed, offensive, and visually ugly - is back again. I enjoy satire, but this crude stuff doesn't merit the name. Award-winning cartoonist he may be (though goodness knows what the criteria for such an award are), but his strip is a disgrace to a quality paper like the Guardian and an insult to its readers (or at least to this one!)
